Local Backups
CommVault Galaxy® Backup and Recovery provides local disk to tape backup of your remote office data and applications. Once on tape, the data can be transported to an offsite storage location or to a central site for easy management. While providing effective data protection, this method limits the recovery point to the last good backup, leaving data created or changed between backups unprotected. WAN-based Backups
CommVault Galaxy® Backup and Recovery provides disk-to-disk backup over a WAN. This enables you to centrally protect and manage your data using traditional backup cycles such as weekly full, incremental or differential backups. If network bandwidth is an issue, you can perform an initial full backup and leverage incremental changes to create a synthetic full backup. This provides all the benefits of traditional full backups but consumes less network bandwidth and reduces backup time.
Replication for Remote Offices
CommVault Continuous Data Replicator (CDR) provides cost effective, real-time replication that enables you to centralize remote office data, simplifying management and protection.
