CommVault provides:
- CommVault Galaxy® Backup & Recovery data protection for UNIX clients

- Media Agents for both CommVault Galaxy software and Archive to operate on UNIX systems, including NetWare, AIX, Solaris, HP-UX and Linux, along with Windows
Simplified Data Management for UNIX
CommVault software enables easy management of your UNIX data, with unified capabilities for backup, restore, snapshot, archive and resource management. In environments that combine Windows and Linux with UNIX, the CommVault Singular approach offers you the same Unified Console and infrastructure for managing the entire enterprise-wide deployment.
Horizontal Scalability for Data Protection and Archive
CommVault software provides unique, horizontal scalability that allows you to easily expand data management to meet growing requirements over time. It's as simple as adding more Media Agents, all managed by the same unified console. You can add and operate heterogeneous Media Agents, including NetWare, AIX, Solaris, HP-UX, Linux and Windows systems, which work together to carry the load of data management.
Backup and recovery is just part of the requirement. As your needs extend to archive, legal discovery of Exchange and other data, replication for remote office protection, snapshot and resource management, it's as easy as adding new modules and components.
