Caring for our Communities: Our CSR Team’s Work With the Smile Foundation

Every day I am so proud of our team here in India. Not only do we continue to deliver for our customers, but we consistently show how We Care!

In fact, our India Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Team was created last year due to the growing number of Vaulters who wanted to be able to give back and support their local communities.

I’m proud to share that the CSR team’s most recent event with the Smile Foundation was a huge success. The Smile Foundation is committed to bringing better education and opportunities to underprivileged children in India. In the video above, you can hear from our Vaulters on how our CSR team helped make a difference in the lives of 250 students at BMV High School in Bhaktharahalli Village. Located in a remote part of Karnataka, the village of Bhaktharahalli has minimal internet connectivity, and many members of this community work in the farming and dairy industry. However, the village’s BMV High School is giving students the opportunity to learn new skills and empower them to explore the world with different possibilities.

In December, our Vaulters gifted backpacks filled with school supplies to help make Christmas and New Year’s festivities for these students a bit more special this year. As part of the event, the students also had the chance to speak with our team and share their aspirations and dreams. Many of the inspiring students talked about how they want to work in offices someday and how dedicated they are to working hard in their studies. Having the opportunity to actually meet the students in-person was so gratifying for our team. It’s these types of events that really show how much our We Care value resonates across our business and the communities we serve.

We were honored to partner with this organization for our recent event, and we are so excited to continue to work with the Smile Foundation as we continue our CSR efforts here in India.
