We definitely revved our engines in Q3! While industry recognitions from TechTarget, Solutions Review and Data Management Software have put us in the pole position, it is our customers and how we help them solve hard problems that keep us in the fast lane. Here are just a few great wins from Q3:

Qorvo, a $13 billion-plus innovative tech company that makes chipsets found in most electronics including cars and aircraft, selected Commvault HyperScale™ Software with HPE servers as an economical repository to locally archive QA datasets off of front-line storage. Rich Kellen, the company’s Chief Information Security Officer/Head of IT Infrastructure, said it best:

“As a pioneering manufacturer of products that enrich, simplify and protect lives, we need to ensure the integrity of our quality assurance data and that our backup and recovery strategy remains cost-effective.  We partner with vendors like Commvault and HPE [that] continue to meet our standards for quality, reliability, performance and affordability. We’re excited to build on our long-standing success together through the expansion of HyperScale technology, which allows us to easily scale-out protection to new data volumes while reducing complexity and cost.”

Another fantastic win was Garanti BBVA, the second largest private bank in Turkey supporting more than 17 million customers with 917 branches. After a very rigorous proof-of-concept process – competing against incumbents EMC and proposals from Veritas – Garanti BBVA selected Commvault Complete solution to support all the critical operational elements of the tightly-regulated financial services provider.

In addition to landing deals with Benetton Group S.p.A., City of Edmonton, and Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office, we celebrate the great stories from customers AstraZeneca, City of Sparks, GEICO, Herbalife and Spectrum.

As Steven L. Hellyer, information technology director from the City of Everett, recently said:

“Our adoption of Commvault Activate has enabled us to manage and protect data across many heterogenous systems, including Office 365, Azure workloads and on-premise workloads like file servers, SQL and Oracle, all through Commvault’s centralized data platform. Electronic discovery is critical to our business, and Commvault Activate’s innovative data governance capabilities allow us to search, identify and manage data to meet compliance and legal hold requirements and lock down sensitive files. Entrusting Commvault for these critical business capabilities has saved us time and resources while minimizing risk and delivering higher value to the city.”

That is why we continue to rev our innovation engine and always strive to provide the best products, service and support we possibly can. I’d like to thank all our customers for allowing us to earn their trust and to be a virtual part of their pit crew.

They are our true champions.
