If You’ve Got Trouble, Meet An Expert (The Beatles Edition)

If you are anything like me, you likely have a project, or multiple projects, ongoing at any given point. One of my current projects is organizing and displaying my Beatles music collection, which might explain the titles and subtitles! 

Perhaps your latest project is on your house, or your car, or maybe a project at work or even at school.  Wherever and whatever the project is, it’s almost certain that it will require you to do research in order to make sure that all of your efforts result in the desired outcome. In my case, and depending upon the project, I sometimes spend twice as much time researching a project than I spend on actually performing the work. Sounds like an inefficient use of time, right?  

When in the research phase, personally I am a huge fan of do-it-yourself (DIY) guides and forums, as well as demonstration videos. (Selfish plug – check out the Commvault Technical Demos!).

And even though I really love the challenge that is presented by a new project, I can’t tell you how many times I wished I simply had an expert I could consult with and socialize my ideas as well as hear and learn from their experience.
