Commvault was awarded with best “Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Solution” at NetworkWorld Asia Readers’ Choice Product Excellence Awards. As an award that asks the public for their vote, we owe it all to our customers and partners for their confidence in us as their #DataExperts.
I’ve been privileged and humbled to recognize the support of our customers and partners time and again, as we keep listening to what they say. We have acted with their best interests in mind. In June this year, I touched on the changes that our industry is going through – problems of scale and complexity.
We resolved to tackle these head on, but it’s only because we listened to customer and partner concerns about their challenges that we’re able to address them. We did that last year when we launched Commvault HyperScale™, entered strategic alliances with cloud providers, such as Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud, and augmented our partnerships with HPE and NetApp. Through it all, we continued our own long journey of self reflection.
To that end, we renewed our focus on our partners and bringing simplicity to our solutions by stepping up our Commvault Advance program. We introduced Commvault Complete™ Backup & Recovery as a single comprehensive solution. We put more enhancements into our partner programs, including greater support and resources. And, most important, we kept the conversation going.
Just this year, we partnered with IDC to undertake a survey that focused directly on whether our worldwide customers felt we were doing right by them, no holds barred. The results were astounding. One of my favorite findings was that even though our customers faced an average of 41 percent annual growth in how much data they needed to protect, they also reported being able to cut their administrative IT hours by 31 percent and save more than $5,000 per week through improved efficiency. That’s becoming more efficient with even more data.
We are humbled to receive this award. We are even more incentivized to support our customers and partners to manage, protect and use their data. Together we will work toward the goal of helping others solve their most pressing data challenges, and protect their most strategic asset.
