Tinton Falls, N.J. – May 17, 2018 - Commvault  (NASDAQ: CVLT), a global leader in enterprise backup, recovery, archive and the cloud, today announced that Shirley Scarborough, Director, Worldwide Channel Programs at Commvault, has been named by CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, to its list of 2018 Power 100, an elite subset of its prestigious annual Women of the Channel list.

CRN’s editorial team selects Women of the Channel honorees based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the channel. The Power 100 belong to an exclusive group drawn from this larger list: Women leaders whose vision and influence are key drivers of their companies’ success and help move the entire IT channel forward.

Over the past five years, Scarborough has driven numerous cross-functional teams for major regional and global transformation initiatives to revitalize channel revenue growth, speed time-to-revenue for new products and strengthen Commvault’s competitive business capabilities.

“This accomplished group of leaders is steadily guiding the IT channel into a prosperous new era of services-led business models and deep, strategic partnerships,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “CRN’s 2018 Women of the Channel list honors executives who are driving channel progress through a number of achievements—exemplary partner programs, innovative product development and marketing, effective team-building, visionary leadership and accelerated sales growth—as well as advocacy for the next generation of women channel executives.”

Most recent, Scarborough has focused her efforts on further developing and expanding Commvault’s partner programs, including the introduction of Commvault's program for Global Systems Integrators, development of new ways to bolster Commvault's operational capabilities and key channel business processes enabled through the Commvault Partner Portal. All of which was part of an effort to make it easier for the partner community to work with Commvault.

“Shirley has earned a reputation for successfully building value for internal stakeholders and partner organizations during her 20 years in the channel, and in her five years at Commvault has proven adept creating programs that leverage a channel partner's ability to deliver positive results,” said Ralph Nimergood, Vice President, Route Services, Worldwide Partnerships, Commvault. “Shirley knows how to achieve the stated goals while lowering costs and creating market differentiation. She is an accomplished leader and works tirelessly to power the engagement and enablement of our partner ecosystem to achieve mutual growth.”

Today’s announcement comes as Commvault is aggressively driving a partner-led strategy, with renewed focus on its indirect business, the addition of key executives Andy Vandeveld, Vice President, Worldwide Alliances and Scott Strubel, Vice President of Worldwide Channels, with strategic partner focus by routes to market, and with special offers with partners like Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and Cisco that highlight Commvault innovation. Scarborough joins other Commvault executives in getting similar recognition from The Channel Company. Commvault continues to invest in talent to help its customers drive their digital transformation with powerful simplicity by unlocking the strategic value of their data through its global network of partners.

The 2018 Women of the Channel and Power 100 lists will be featured in the June issue of CRN Magazine and online at www.CRN.com/wotc
