Commvault Edge is a Commvault supplied image, which includes a CIS Level 1 hardened operating system and Commvault Software in a simple to image, install, and manage bundle, suitable for offices with limited IT support. How is the Commvault Edge deployed? Commvault Edge systems are designed with a Flexible BOM (FlexBOM) concept that includes a local storage pool and which may be connected to either on-premises or cloud CommServe instance. Refer to the [Reference Architecture documentation](https://documentation.commvault.com/11.40/essential/hyperscale_edge_reference_architecture_technical_specifications.html). What capacity points are allowed with Commvault Edge? Currently up to 12 drives are supported per system, with the capacity of each individual drive supported up to 20TB.
