Commvault Remote Office Appliance provides the powerful simplicity of Commvault in a cost-effect backup and recovery solution. As part of a Commvault Complete™ Backup & Recovery environment, it allows customers to address the challenges of supporting remote and branch offices.
Remote and branch offices can be difficult to support due to limited or no on-site IT staff, complexity of integrating point products, and inconsistent policies and procedures. With your existing Commvault environment and the Remote Office Appliance, you can store, protect and use all of your data wherever it exists. It offers remote and small offices flexible and streamlined backup and recovery through a scale-up infrastructure and ranges from 5 to 15 TB of usable capacity. You can centrally manage local backups and recoveries and replicate copies to your central site for greater data protection. In addition, as a fully-integrated appliance it simplifies the acquisition, installation and support that often hinders remote staff or requires expensive professional services.
