Overview

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a secure cloud services platform that offers compute power, database storage, content delivery and other functionality to help businesses scale and grow. As a complement to AWS, VMware Cloud on AWS comprises three core VMware products:

  • vSphere – an infrastructure virtualization platform

In the past, linking components of the VMware on-premises stack to AWS was difficult because the networks are “incongruent,” or incompatible with each other.
