Dell’s Partnership with CommVault
CommVault is pleased to announce its recent Original Equipment Manufacturer relationship with Dell. Dell added the CommVault software to its portfolio of backup solutions for PowerVault and Dell/EMC storage systems.
To address the needs of smaller organizations and branch offices, Dell and CommVault worked together to develop GalaxyExpress, a suite of data protection software that provides easy-to-use basic network backup and restore capabilities for networks with up to 15 clients.
For Dell customers, CommVault Galaxy delivers a simple, centrally managed, application-aware solution which features intelligent, granular data movement. Galaxy's policy-based data management approach minimizes user intervention and allows customers to access what data they want, when they want it, using a point and click, GUI-based methodology.
Making it Easier to Deliver Value
The CommVault software provides Dell customers with high-performance, low-cost backup and restore capabilities that are easy to use and can scale with increasing data protection requirements. Dell makes it easy to purchase, deploy and manage CommVault solutions with special bundling, streamlined licensing, 3-year upgrade protection and Dell services.
In addition to our OEM relationship, Dell is an authorized CommVault Reseller, which gives Dell customers access to the complete lineup of Galaxy solutions through Dell Software and Peripherals program.
