Continuing our very full dance card for October, this week the Commvault team is in Las Vegas at Oracle CloudWorld and while we’re thrilled to be a gold sponsor of the show, Commvault and Oracle are so much more than just event supporters – we’re also multi-could partners! In fact, we erweitertunsere strategische Partnerschaft mit Oracle vor einigen Monaten, um das gesamte Portfolio an „Metallic Data Management as a Service“ (DMaaS)-Angeboten inOracle Cloud (OCI).
Die Gleichung ist einfach:OCI + Metallic DMaaS= benutzerfreundliches Unternehmensdatenmanagement, Schutz vor Bedrohungen und Recovery. Was bedeutet das nun genau?
But that’s just the beginning. Commvault and Oracle are already well down the path on our newly minted, multi-cloud, SaaS-delivered DMaaS journey. Just this week, Commvault rolled out new support and features for the Metallic DMaaS portfolio designed specifically to expand support for OCI.
Specifically, Metallic now protects Oracle Database Cloud Service (DBCS) and Oracle Exadata Database Service on OCI, as well as OCI Object Storage. These workloads join our existing support for Oracle, Oracle RAC, Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE) and OCI VMs. Metallic provides support for both Metallic Recovery Reserve for OCI storage and BYO OCI Storage for air-gapped protection.
Wie mein Kollege Jeff bereits in seinemRückblick during last week’s events, the conversation doesn’t end at CloudWorld. Oracle is bringing its expertise to bear alongside our best and brightest at the upcoming Commvault Connections 22 event. Oracle’s Joe Corvaia, GVP, NACT ISV, MGS and MSP Sales, will join Commvault’s Chief Partner Officer Alan Atkinson, to discuss best practices for protecting against ransomware in a multi-cloud world. It’s just a few weeks away and I can tell you it’s going to be a world-class cloud experience. Register for Connections today and reserve your seat now for this special partner session!
