As we continue to celebrate Women’s History Month, I have been reflecting on the profound impact of inclusion and mentorship in shaping careers and fostering success. Three years ago, I joined Commvault as the Area Vice President for Enterprise, drawn by the company’s innovative solutions to cybersecurity challenges while providing exceptional leadership and developing a vibrant culture.
I am honored to be part of a team where the desire to succeed and the pursuit of excellence drive us to constantly push the boundaries of what’s possible for our employees, our customers and our partners. What sets us apart is not just our drive for success, but also our genuine care for each other’s growth and wellbeing.
Ao longo da minha carreira, os mentores tiveram um papel fundamental na orientação do meu caminho. No setor de tecnologia, predominantemente dominado por homens, muitos dos meus mentores foram homens. O apoio e a confiança que depositaram nas minhas capacidades me incentivaram a sair da minha zona de conforto e buscar oportunidades que, de outra forma, eu poderia ter deixado passar.
É essencial reconhecer o papel que tanto homens quanto mulheres desempenham na promoção da diversidade de gênero e da inclusão no ambiente de trabalho. Ao nos envolvermos ativamente em mentoria, apoio e alianças, podemos contribuir coletivamente para a criação de um ambiente mais equitativo e inclusivo, onde todos possam se desenvolver.
Estabelecer laços com outras mulheres, tanto na área de vendas quanto em outras áreas da empresa, tem sido uma prioridade para mim. Por meio do mentoreamento, podemos apoiar umas às outras, ter conversas significativas e inspirar-nos mutuamente a alcançar nosso pleno potencial.
It is important to recognize that an individual’s aspirations and definitions of success are unique. As mentors, it is our responsibility to listen, understand and empower women to pursue their individual goals to help them explore the career paths they choose with confidence.
And speaking of women empowerment, in honor of International Women’s Day earlier this month, I had the privilege of partnering with Commvault to support two charitable organizations dedicated to mentoring and empowering young women worldwide.

This culture of support and encouragement has been instrumental in my own journey, and I am committed to paying it forward by inspiring, supporting and empowering those around me to be their best selves every day.
