As we continue to celebrate Women’s History Month, I have been reflecting on the profound impact of inclusion and mentorship in shaping careers and fostering success. Three years ago, I joined Commvault as the Area Vice President for Enterprise, drawn by the company’s innovative solutions to cybersecurity challenges while providing exceptional leadership and developing a vibrant culture.
I am honored to be part of a team where the desire to succeed and the pursuit of excellence drive us to constantly push the boundaries of what’s possible for our employees, our customers and our partners. What sets us apart is not just our drive for success, but also our genuine care for each other’s growth and wellbeing.
A lo largo de mi carrera, los mentores han desempeñado un papel fundamental a la hora de orientar mi trayectoria. En el sector tecnológico, predominantemente masculino, muchos de mis mentores han sido hombres. Su apoyo y su confianza en mis capacidades me animaron a salir de mi zona de confort y a aprovechar oportunidades que, de otro modo, quizá habría pasado por alto.
Es fundamental reconocer el papel que desempeñan tanto los hombres como las mujeres a la hora de promover la diversidad de género y la inclusión en el lugar de trabajo. Al participar activamente en programas de mentoría, apadrinamiento y apoyo, podemos contribuir colectivamente a crear un entorno más equitativo e inclusivo en el que todos puedan prosperar.
Establecer vínculos con otras mujeres, tanto dentro del departamento de ventas como en el resto de la empresa, ha sido una prioridad para mí. A través de la tutoría, podemos apoyarnos mutuamente, mantener conversaciones significativas e inspirarnos unas a otras para alcanzar nuestro máximo potencial.
It is important to recognize that an individual’s aspirations and definitions of success are unique. As mentors, it is our responsibility to listen, understand and empower women to pursue their individual goals to help them explore the career paths they choose with confidence.
And speaking of women empowerment, in honor of International Women’s Day earlier this month, I had the privilege of partnering with Commvault to support two charitable organizations dedicated to mentoring and empowering young women worldwide.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of working at Commvault is being part of a culture where colleagues genuinely care about each other’s passions, success and personal growth. This culture of support and encouragement has been instrumental in my own journey, and I am committed to paying it forward by inspiring, supporting and empowering those around me to be their best selves every day.
