As we continue to celebrate Women’s History Month, I’m honored to take a moment to share my experience as a woman in the technology industry with a passion for inclusion and mentorship.
As Head of Regional Marketing for Switzerland, Austria, SEE, Middle East and Africa, I’ve had the pleasure of being part of Commvault during a pivotal time in its history. In November, we launched our new approach to cyber resilience, and ever since then, we’ve been hard at work with our eventos SHIFT Roadshow and to give our customers an unfair advantage for resilience in the face of ransomware and other advanced threats in today’s hybrid world.

This award is an incredible validation of my hard work, dedication, and contributions aligned with Commvault’s values – Connect, Inspire, Care, Deliver – that are the guiding principles shaping my professional journey. It serves as a powerful motivation, reinforcing my commitment to upholding these values and acknowledging my achievements in the most meaningful way.

This year’s International Women’s Day theme is #InspireInclusion, which is very special to me. Throughout my career, I’ve made it my mission to support and empower women in this industry to believe in themselves. Mentorship is a key aspect of how I’ve worked to empower other women to believe in themselves. A supportive, genuine, connection with a team member can go a long way.
Investir continuamente em habilidades e conhecimentos, construir uma rede profissional sólida, manter um equilíbrio saudável entre vida profissional e pessoal e abraçar desafios e mudanças são os conselhos que me guiaram ao longo de toda a minha carreira. Passo esses mesmos conselhos para a geração mais jovem, na esperança de causar um impacto positivo neles!
Para qualquer mulher que esteja apenas começando sua carreira na área de tecnologia, meu conselho é que você se lembre do poder da confiança. Sente-se à mesa, em vez de ficar esperando por um convite! Sei que, às vezes, ser a única mulher na sala pode parecer intimidador no início, mas lembre-se: VOCÊ tem uma perspectiva única que merece ser ouvida. Seja confiante e autêntica em relação a quem você é e saiba que você agrega um valor imenso ao impulsionar a inovação. Estabelecer metas e seguir a própria paixão são ingredientes essenciais para o sucesso.
