As we continue to celebrate Women’s History Month, I’m honored to take a moment to share my experience as a woman in the technology industry with a passion for inclusion and mentorship.
As Head of Regional Marketing for Switzerland, Austria, SEE, Middle East and Africa, I’ve had the pleasure of being part of Commvault during a pivotal time in its history. In November, we launched our new approach to cyber resilience, and ever since then, we’ve been hard at work with our eventos «SHIFT Roadshow» and to give our customers an unfair advantage for resilience in the face of ransomware and other advanced threats in today’s hybrid world.

This award is an incredible validation of my hard work, dedication, and contributions aligned with Commvault’s values – Connect, Inspire, Care, Deliver – that are the guiding principles shaping my professional journey. It serves as a powerful motivation, reinforcing my commitment to upholding these values and acknowledging my achievements in the most meaningful way.

This year’s International Women’s Day theme is #InspireInclusion, which is very special to me. Throughout my career, I’ve made it my mission to support and empower women in this industry to believe in themselves. Mentorship is a key aspect of how I’ve worked to empower other women to believe in themselves. A supportive, genuine, connection with a team member can go a long way.
Invertir constantemente en habilidades y conocimientos, crear una sólida red profesional, mantener un equilibrio saludable entre la vida laboral y personal, y aceptar los retos y los cambios son los consejos que me han guiado a lo largo de mi carrera. ¡Transmito estos mismos consejos a las nuevas generaciones con la esperanza de influir positivamente en ellas!
A cualquier mujer que esté empezando su carrera en el sector tecnológico, mi consejo es que recuerde el poder de la confianza. ¡Siéntate a la mesa en lugar de esperar a que te inviten! Sé que a veces ser la única mujer en la sala puede resultar intimidante al principio, pero recuerda: TÚ tienes una perspectiva única que merece ser escuchada. Ten confianza en ti misma y sé auténtica; ten claro que aportas un valor inmenso a la hora de impulsar la innovación. Fijarse metas y seguir la propia pasión son ingredientes esenciales para el éxito.
