As an Oracle Platinum Partner, CommVault takes pride in providing superior Oracle database protection and data management options. On the third day of the conference, Wednesday, October 1, our database product manager, David Porco, will go into specifics about our integrations, spending the bulk of his time talking shop about Oracle database archiving.

During his “Seen and Be Heard Session,” David will cover the key considerations, use cases, and benefits of archiving data from Oracle databases and how CommVault Simpana software's Oracle archiving feature can migrate inactive data from the production database to an archive database and long-term storage media while preserving access, search and archive retrieval. As data continues to balloon rapidly across organizations, this topic is increasingly important.

Here are the details:

Session ID: SBH9763
Session Title: “Oracle Database Archiving: Optimizing Performance and Managing Data Growth and Access”
Room: Scene and Be Heard Theater - Moscone South Exhibition Hall - Booth 313
Date and Time: 10/1/14, 10:00 - 10:20

If you’re attending OpenWorld, what are you most looking forward to or learning about? The countdown is on – we hope you will “Walk This Way” by our booth (2425 Moscone South) to say hi, and you can even get a demo of Simpana software in action (sorry, I couldn’t resist). See you there!
