HyperScale Edge is a Commvault supplied image, which includes a CIS Level 1 hardened operating system and Commvault Software in a simple to image, install, and manage bundle, suitable for offices with limited IT support. How is the HyperScale Edge deployed? HyperScale Edge systems are designed with a Flexible BOM (FlexBOM) concept that includes a local storage pool and which may be connected to either on-premises or cloud CommServe instance. Refer to the Reference Architecture documentation. What capacity points are allowed with HyperScale Edge? Currently up to 12 drives are supported per system, with the capacity of each individual drive supported up to 20TB.
