Board of Directors
Sandra Hamilton is a true citizen of the world. In fact, for the first 15 years of her career, she hardly worked in the United States. Sandy brings her global perspective to Commvault, where she will be helping to drive the end2end customer experience while directly leading the Systems Engineering, Professional Services and Support teams. She advocates for a workplace that provides inclusion for diversity of thought and bringing the organization together to provide an outstanding customer experience.
Before Commvault, Sandy led Puppet’s Customer Success team, which included technical pre-sales, post-sales delivery, support and renewals, direct and indirect enablement, and customer education teams. She worked at EMC for nearly 10 years, driving its Global Service team’s go-to-market strategy and planning, and serving as a leader for EMC’s consulting organization. Prior to EMC, Sandy was a senior executive in Accenture’s Communications and High Tech practice.
When she isn’t on-site with a customer, Sandy likes to add stamps in her passport and visit friends who live in all parts of the world. She equally enjoys her down time at home, where she hikes in the mountains with her four dogs.
Riccardo Di Blasio
As a global leader, Riccardo Di Blasio, Commvault’s Chief Revenue Officer has grown numerous technology companies in multiple countries across three continents. A 25-year industry veteran, Riccardo is responsible for leading the company’s global field and partner organizations.
In addition to speaking five languages, he is particularly well-versed in helping enterprise and mid-market customers tackle their private, hybrid and multi-cloud transformations. Riccardo has extensive experience leading sales at DXC Technology’s Cloud Platform Solutions business, as well as within Cohesity, VMware and EMC. Before joining DXC, he was CEO at Globetouch, an Internet of Things company. Riccardo also advises several startup and established technology companies.
Commvault’s top numbers guy has been with the company since 2001 and has been chief financial officer since 2012. Before joining Commvault, Brian was crunching numbers at Ernst & Young LLP. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Villanova University, his Master of Business Administration degree from New York University, and he is a certified public accountant in the State of New Jersey. When he’s not watching the bottom line, Brian is most likely watching a Villanova Wildcats basketball game, playing with his fiercely loyal eight-pound dog, Angus, or traveling to a new Major League Baseball park with his son every summer - a tradition he vows to complete until they have seen them all!
Rajiv Kottomtharayil wasted no time making his mark at Commvault. Starting as a software developer in 1998, Rajiv quickly moved up the ranks - development manager, senior development manager, product development director, and finally, vice president of product development. When he’s not managing Commvault production backup, Rajiv can be found running outdoors or watching the Commvault team play cricket; unless it’s Christmas Day, that’s when he answers customer emails. Rajiv received his Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Monmouth University and Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics from Bombay University.
Hailing from the tiny kingdom of Denmark - the land of hygge and happiness - Jesper oversees our people agenda and the quest to nurture happiness @ work as a sustainable way of stimulating continuous innovation. Jesper joined Commvault in 2014 following successful stints at Velti, SuccessFactors, Novo Nordisk and Hewlett Packard. Having earned his Ph.D. in Culture Sociology from Copenhagen University, Jesper kicked off his career in his native country. However, for the past 20-plus years he has lived and worked around the world, including Austria, the Czech Republic and the east and west coasts of the United States. An avid soccer player and long-standing Arsenal fan, Jesper can be found out of breath while competing in the Commvault Soccer League. Admittedly, his biggest kick comes from watching his daughter - who is the only girl on her high school football team!
Since 2015, Brian Brockway has been driving Commvault’s technology strategy, product innovation and integration expansion across the partner ecosystem. He has served in a variety of product management and marketing roles at Commvault, which he joined after working as a strategic consultant at Gartner and an equities analyst at Schwab Soundview Capital Markets. He holds an MBA degree from NYU Stern and an Aerospace Engineering Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY Buffalo, and served in the U.S. Navy Reserves. After years of working to spot global market shifts and acting as his family’s technology guru, he’s challenged daily by his daughters’ mastery of emerging (social) media platforms. He’s called MacGyver by his neighbors for his problem-solving skills and fondness for spy novels, and dreams of joining a surfer band when he’s not finding innovative solutions for customers.
Warren H. Mondschein
Responsible for all things “legal” on a worldwide basis, Warren has been Commvault’s general counsel and secretary since 2004 and its chief compliance officer since 2010. Warren espouses a management philosophy that smart risk-taking is a valued skillset. Before Commvault, Warren worked in the legal department of Corvis Corporation and in private practice at Mayer Brown LLP. Warren earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and his J.D., cum laude, from The University of Michigan Law School. A self-described, above-average golfer, joke teller and Rice Krispies Treat® maker (he made us add the registered mark), Warren also uses his legal expertise to avoid tickets when he races his Porsche.
Chris is the first person who will tell you he will do anything for a good story. Just how far would he go? How about the South Pole? In January 2018, that’s what he did – walking with Arctic explorer Robert Swan to the South Pole to raise awareness of renewable energy. Chris often talks about passion - how it can drive you in your work and life, and make a difference in the world. Beyond looking for a good story, he’s also a storyteller, as evidenced by his marketing career. Since joining Commvault in 2014, Chris has transformed the company’s global brand and drives the worldwide marketing strategy and operations. His experience includes 15 years at SAP, where he was a key contributor to its successful “Runs SAP” global brand. When Chris isn’t telling a great story, he can be found training for triathlons or hanging with his wife and three daughters.
Early in his career, Sanjay realized that - although he could write code - he was better at helping people use it. That’s why, as a customer-driven CEO, he is determined to deliver Commvault solutions that impact the business and lives of our customers.
Sanjay joins Commvault from the software maker Puppet, where he served as CEO for more than two years. During his tenure at Puppet, he grew the user base of Puppet’s open source and commercial solutions to more than 40,000 companies, including 75 percent of the Fortune 100. He grew Puppet's global presence, opening new offices in Seattle, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo and Timisoara, Romania. Prior to that, he spent two decades in senior leadership roles at Microsoft, VMware and EMC Corp.
As a “global citizen,” Sanjay’s move to Commvault’s New Jersey headquarters is a return to his roots. He has family in the New Jersey area and is on the board of directors at Drew University, his alma mater. In addition to his board role at Drew, where he studied computer science and math, he serves on the boards of Datameer, Portland Center Stage and Puppet. He earned his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
A father of two adult daughters, he recognizes and supports the importance of diversity in the workplace. He is also a “ridiculously passionate” fan of cricket – which is a source of good-natured teasing from his daughters.
Given his first power tool at 5-years-old, Rob has been building ever since. Rob is currently responsible for leading Commvault’s New Business Incubation Team to drive new business concepts from ideation to execution.
Before Commvault, Rob worked at MTI in development and technical sales roles. He started his career in the U.S. Marine Corps (Semper Fi), rising to Executive Officer of a combat service and support unit. He earned his Master of Arts degree in Business at Webster University and his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago. When he’s not delighting customers, he can be found spending time with his family, knee deep in a home improvement project or logging thousands of miles on his bike.
Since joining Commvault in 2000, Ron Miiller has used his exceptional sales skills and business acumen to go from a central region sales manager to vice president of sales for the Americas to the head of worldwide sales in 2011. Before Commvault, Ron was a regional sales director for Softworks, Inc., an EMC company. He also worked in various leadership roles with Moore Corporation, a diversified print and electronic communications company.
