Gary Merrill

Following a career-defining role as Chief Commercial Officer leading the company’s global sales and partner teams, Gary Merrill brings his unique global go-to-market experience to his role as Commvault’s Chief Financial Officer.

Merrill spent most of his tenure at Commvault in its finance organization, including an initial stint as Chief Financial Officer where Merrill transformed the company’s finance organization, accelerated its successful transition to a durable, high-growth subscription and SaaS business model, and built relationships with the investment community. Merrill also previously served as Commvault’s Chief of Business Operations.

Merrill, a graduate of Elizabethtown College, began his career with Arthur Anderson LLP in its audit practice working with several global publicly traded companies.
