Sarv Saravanan

In today’s AI-powered business environment, technology must accelerate innovation, drive productivity, and strengthen resilience. As Commvault’s Chief AI and Business Technology Officer, Sarv Saravanan is responsible for doing just that.

Saravanan is responsible for driving the company’s AI innovation to rapidly advance its own business capabilities, while also becoming an industry leading showcase to share experiences and best practices that support its customers own modernization initiatives. He also oversees Commvault’s Centers of Excellence in India and Cairo.

Saravanan has extensive experience building and leading global technology, delivery, and customer-focused organizations for some of the industry’s leading technology companies. Most recently, he served as Commvault’s Chief Customer Officer, where he helped scale the business and strengthen the customer experience with the introduction of Arlie – Commvault’s engagement platform.

Prior to joining Commvault, Saravanan led Microsoft’s Global Center for Innovation & Delivery, which engaged with the company’s biggest customers and strategic partners to accelerate cloud transformations. Before that, he led the Centers of Excellence in Asia Pacific and Japan for Dell EMC.

Saravanan has a master’s degree in computer science from Bharathidasan University and has been recognized by Zinnov for creating and mentoring industry leaders.
