Commvault’s Kalesha Wiley Honored as 2021 CRN® Rising Female Star

Award recognition is a team sport at Commvault and when the recipient is a member of your team, the news is even sweeter, which is why I am proud to share that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Kalesha Wiley, Partner Business Manager, to its 2021 list of Rising Female Stars.

This list honors up-and-coming, talented women in the IT channel for whose contributions are shaping the future of the IT channel through their leadership, tireless dedication and innovative ideas.

Selected by the CRN editorial team, the 2nd annual Rising Female Stars list is made up of exceptional channel leadership candidates. Honorees are selected for their unique experience, expertise, impact on their partners and dedication to the IT channel. These women are playing key roles in helping their organizations maintain and grow their channel partner programs across a multitude of disciplines, including marketing, program management and partner engagement.

With over 12 years of channel management experience working with National, VAR, GSI, and Distributor partners, Kalesha is an integral part of our Channel Sales team. She is the Team Lead on building Commvault’s overall go-to-market strategy with CDW and for the last two years, has been responsible for the growth, engagement, and enablement of more than 3,000 CDW partner sellers across the U.S. and Canada.

“CRN’s 2021 Rising Female Stars list recognizes professionals displaying an unwavering commitment toward channel growth and excellence. These future leaders are driving tomorrow’s innovations for today’s organizations,” said Blaine Raddon, CEO of The Channel Company. “On behalf of The Channel Company, we congratulate all the honorees. What these women are accomplishing today will define the IT channel for many years to come.”

One of Kalesha’s shining moments came during a monumental occasion for Commvault – the launch of Metallic in October 2019. With CDW as a launch partner, Kalesha worked tirelessly leading up to the announcement, leveraging her dedication to Commvault’s business, attention to detail, and focused execution to identify growth opportunities at CDW and amplify Metallic’s portfolio of SaaS solutions.

Her success has not gone unnoticed and Kalesha is no stranger to accomplishments. In FY21, she was named, along with a group of her colleagues, Commvault’s Channel Team of the Year, and earned a much sought-after place in Commvault’s Infinity Club. Suffice it to say, Kalesha’s induction in CRN’s list of Rising Female Stars is self-explanatory.
