Terms & Conditions
These “Terms & Conditions” Commvault’s SHIFT Virtual Giveaway (the “Challenge”) provides the provisions under which customers and prospects, (“Participants”), participate in the Challenge. The Challenge is run by Commvault Systems International B.V.-France Branch (“Commvault”) whose registered office is 13 Rue Madeleine, Michelis 92200 Neuilly-sur-Seine, Registration # 42204. The Challenge is offered in Americas, EMEA, India and APAC (together the “Regions”) and begins 00.00am on November 19, 2025 and will run until 11.59pm November 19, 2025 (the “Challenge Period”).
Enter by completing the following steps:
- Register and attend the Commvault Connections virtual event during the live air times on November 19, 2025
- Earn points for watching sessions, visiting virtual event pages and playing Demos.
- Live scoring, with a 30 minute delay, will capture in-event behaviour and create a leaderboard based on points.
- The Winner (only one winner) will be the person at the top of the leaderboard at 00.59pm November 19th

- Garmin Venu® 3 Slate Stainless Steel Bezel with Black Case and Silicone Band
- Size: 41mm
- Colour: Slate Stainless Steel (colour may vary due to availability)
- Alternate prize: Due to availability in-country an equivalent smartwatch to the value of $450 may be selected or donation to a charity of winners choice
Claiming Prize:
The winner will be announced on or about December 5, 2025 and the prize will be shipped within 45 days. In the event of a tie, all eligible winners will be entered into a random name generator and the overall winner will be selected and notified no later than December 12, 2025. Incomplete and/or multiple entries will be disqualified. Odds of winning will vary depending on number of entrants. By entering this Challenge, you represent that that receipt of prizes is permitted by your applicable laws and employer’s internal policies. Commvault’s, its partners’, and governmental employees are ineligible for this Challenge. and members of the immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to participate and win. The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as “in-laws,” or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension, and any other persons residing at the same household whether or not related. Limit one prize per winning participant. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission to use Participant’s company name and logo for Commvault’s promotional and advertising purposes. In the event that a prize includes a donation to a charity selected by the winner, such charity shall be subject to Commvault’s prior written approval. Commvault reserves the right to verify the legitimacy and tax-exempt status of the selected charity and to withhold or redirect the donation if the selected organization does not qualify as a bona fide charitable organization under applicable law or does not align with Commvault’s charitable giving policies.
Participant Responsibilities: Participant shall be liable and responsible for all acts and/or omissions in relation to the Challenge. Participant must promptly provide all such information, cooperation, and assistance as Commvault may require from time to time in relation to the operation and implementation of the Challenge. Participant is responsible for keeping their passwords and other account information confidential.
Conditions: Void where prohibited, taxed or restricted. Participants agree to release and hold Commvault harmless from and against all losses, damages, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, settlements, or judgments arising out of or relating to their participation in this Challenge. Participants are restricted to use of ordinary and typical computer equipment and Internet access.
Taxes: The value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. Each winning participant is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable taxes or expenses associated with any prize. Prizes are not transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prize.
Conduct and Decisions: By participating in the Challenge Participants agree to be bound by the decisions of Commvault personnel. Participants who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the Challenge, or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified. Unsportsmanlike, disruptive, annoying, harassing or threatening behavior is prohibited. Commvault will interpret these rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the rules or the Challenge, and Commvault’s decisions concerning such disputes shall be final.
Governing Law These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of United States and New York courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes that may arise in connection with this Challenge, without respect to the conflicts of law principles. Participants are solely responsible for compliance with any and all applicable policies or laws, including sanctions, and release Commvault from any and all liability related thereto.
Proprietary Rights to Content: The design and content of the Challenge and any related materials, are protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, or patents and owned by or licensed to Commvault. All information provided to Commvault by any Participant as a result of this Challenge will be subject to Commvault ’s Privacy Policy.
Modification & Termination: Commvault reserves the right to audit, terminate, suspend, amend, modify, revoke or cancel the Challenge, in whole or in part, for any reason and at any time without prior notice. Commvault reserves the right to suspend or exclude a Participant from the Challenge in its sole and discretion.
