Sr. Manager, Development: Job Duties: Manage and mentor senior engineers and managers. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning. Oversee a team of engineers and managers. Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software projects. Prepare and review operational reports and project progress reports. Oversee multiple software projects simultaneously. Oversee code reviews and enforce adherence, to define the best practices. Oversee resolution of technical issues as they arise. Define service level agreements for the applications within the projects and devise plans based on the business criticality. Maintain documentation and reports. Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams. Maintain client relationships. Driving process improvements and automation initiatives.
Requirements: Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any) or related and 48 months of experience in the job offered or as a/an in the job offered or as a software developer tester, engineer, software architect, analyst, or related. In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor's in the above-stated fields plus 96 months of progressively responsible experience in the above-stated occupations. Additionally, all candidates must possess at least 36 months (3 years) of experience in at least one of the following areas: data storage, database management platforms, user interfaces (UI), data processing system workloads, or data security. At least 24 months (2 years) of experience in any one of the following technologies: Java, web services, databases, or microservices. A minimum of 12 months (1 year) of experience in managing the software development lifecycle. Position is based out of 1 Commvault Way, Tinton Falls, NJ 07724 and may require relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States. Benefits incl. Medical, Dental, Vision,
