Work with SharePoint? Heading to SPTechCon? See you there!

In two weeks, we'll be heading to Boston to meet up with Microsoft experts, SharePoint MVPs and those that have only gotten their feet wet, but are looking to take advantage of SharePoint at this fall’s SPTechCon. The SharePoint platform has long been a key focus area for the Commvault team, and as a platinum sponsor, we’re looking forward to attending the many sessions and panels covering the future and day-to -day use of Microsoft’s collaboration application.

To kick off the countdown to SPTechCon, we chatted with Clark Buckner of TechnologyAdvice about Commvault’s 15-year partnership with Microsoft, the work we’ve done with SharePoint and why we’re heading to the conference this month. CommVault helps businesses protect, recover and optimize information in Microsoft environments through our Simpana software, and we have some new features that we’ll be discussing at the show. One highlight from our conversation? When Clark asked what we thought the future of SharePoint will be. Our answer included mentions of modern data management, virtualization strategies and mobile access.

And if you’re attending SPTechCon and want to talk more about the data management side of SharePoint, join our own SharePoint expert, Tom Atanacio, on Friday, Sept. 19 where he’ll be leading a session to help IT administrators think holistically about their data in SharePoint environments. We'll be at booth No. 500 with the team, so be sure to come say hello!
