We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Global Security Technology and Systems to lead the strategy, implementation, and operation of Commvault’s global physical security technology infrastructure. This role is pivotal in establishing and managing the Corporate Security Operations Center (SOC), developing policies and procedures, and overseeing SOC staffing. The successful candidate will manage access control systems, video surveillance, alarm systems, and other advanced security technologies.

As a key leader within the Corporate Security team, this individual will ensure a secure environment across all Commvault locations, drive convergence between physical and logical security systems, and leverage emerging technologies to build a cohesive and innovative security framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a global vision for Commvault’s physical security systems.
  • Align security technology strategy with corporate objectives, ensuring scalability and adaptability.
  • Design and manage the lifecycle of systems including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and visitor management.
  • Integrate physical security systems with enterprise platforms (e.g., IT, HR).
  • Oversee the Security Operations Center (SOC) for threat monitoring, travel security, and emergency notifications.
  • Leverage analytics to identify trends, optimize operations, and support data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with IT, Facilities, HR, and other departments to embed security into business operations.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert during audits, investigations, and incident responses.
  • Drive convergence of physical and logical security systems.
  • Build and lead a high-performing SOC team, fostering a culture of innovation and inclusivity.
  • Evaluate, implement, and maintain best-in-class security solutions with external vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Conduct audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
  • Develop protocols for emergency and incident response using security systems.
  • Explore AI, IoT, predictive analytics, and cloud-based solutions to enhance operations.
  • Stay current with trends and innovations in security technology.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years in physical security technology, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale security systems in enterprise environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of access control (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, Software House), video surveillance, and alarm systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage global programs and collaborate across geographies.
  • Expertise in project management with a track record of on-time, on-budget delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as PSP (Physical Security Professional) or CPP (Certified Protection Professional).
  • Experience integrating physical and logical security systems.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards.
  • Understanding of emerging technologies including AI, IoT, and cloud-based platforms.

$139,400$207,000 USD
