The ideal Project Manager (PM) candidate will bring client interfacing experience, problem solving skills, and an ability to work with multiple teams on multiple concurrent projects. Core competencies of this role include a solid understanding of project management principles, a delivery-focused approach to managing project teams, along with a strong technical capacity and excellent communications skills. Ideal candidates will be familiar managing software initiatives that span proprietary product hardware, across multiple product lines, and Enterprise software applications with flexible deployments (on-premises, cloud, SaaS). How You Will Make an Impact: • Use in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles to drive successful completion of multiple concurrent projects• Plan and control various project activities to ensure on-time / on-budget delivery to agreed project deliverables • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans to validate deliverables, resource requirements, priorities, and milestones• Monitor project progress and deliver status reports, timelines, issues, risks and action items to stakeholders and team members• Act as a focal point of escalation for all project related matters• Proactively track scope changes, facilitate the change order process, and effectively communicate changes and manage expectations• Schedule and facilitate stakeholder meetings at multiple levels of an organization, providing leadership around project activities• Maintain core project management tools, including Project Plans, Workbooks, Change Documentation, etc. What You Need to Be Ready: • Minimum 5 years of IT-based project management experience• Minimum 5 years in a customer facing role in a Professional Services or a consulting organization • Ability to understand high level system architecture and technical design• Extensive project leadership experience in a Software Product organization• Experience in running complex projects and programs for enterprise customers• Excellent time management and efficient working practices • Proficiency working in a dynamic environment managing multiple client projects• Must be a self-starter able to work independently and prioritize accordingly• Excellent oral/written communication and organization skills• PMP certification is a plus• Experience in managing projects in the backup/recovery and data management industry is a plus • Fluent Italian and English (oral/written) Commvault is an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
