The Opportunity:
This role focuses on driving sales growth through strategic partnerships with Global System Integrators. It involves developing key accounts, creating joint offers and go-to-market strategies, managing partner relationships, and ensuring pipeline growth, renewals and customer satisfaction. Success requires strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills, a track record of exceeding sales targets, and the ability to coordinate sales, marketing, legal and support functions globally.
Who you are?
- Identifies and develops key account alliances and relationship programs designed to produce sales opportunities.
- Develops and manages strategic partner alliances/partnerships and opportunity pipelines and ensures the retention, growth and customer satisfaction of accounts.
- Monitors programs to assess the sales impact of the solution(s) in the marketplace and the overall success of the alliance.
- Having experience of managing relationship with regional GSIs
- Build out a global business for Global System Integrators
- Work with strategic partners to jointly formulate the strategy, offer creation and business plan that encompasses offer rollout, GTM, marketing and delivery.
- Responsible for leading the creation of joint offers that are aligned with key client challenges and significant markets for both Commvault and GSIs
- Create and drive the portfolio sales strategy and overall GTM, with a focus on growing net new business and ensuring timely renewals.
- Understand investments needed from products, marketing and enablement to drive these investments from inception through execution.
- Be accountable for the execution of the strategy/ plan and deliver on metrics such as bookings & pipeline.
- Work with direct and channel sales to manage sales efforts typically focused on the sale of transformational solutions and shaping sophisticated/complex deals.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overall 12+ years of experience in managing direct sales & Global System Integration partners.
- Having experience of managing relationship with regional GSIs
- Must have significant experience in sales and business development roles to include an understanding of legal, support, marketing, sales and sales ops.
- At least 5 years of direct sales experience selling high technology solutions.
- Strong knowledge of at least one of these: Data Storage, archiving and DR would be helpful.
- Individual must possess good communication skills and ability to interact with all levels or organizations.
- Track record for developing and executing cross-functional business plans and teams.
- Track record of being successful in quota positions and exceeding them year after year.
- Exceptional selling, negotiating, and presentation skills are mandatory.
- A strong understanding of how distribution, sales and marketing work together to support global initiatives.
- Experience using salesforce.com is a plus.
- A Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
