New Commvault Cloud Services Coming This Fall for Endpoint Data Protection and Email Archiving Solutions
I am excited to announce that new Commvault cloud service offerings from our product portfolio are coming soon! What’s available now is an Early Adopter Program (EAP) for our Endpoint Data Protection with File Sharing and Email Archive services. This is a white glove program that runs through September 2016 with early adopter pricing discounts. Customers participating in the early adopter program can use this fully-managed cloud service to automatically and securely back up data on employee laptops and desktops, and archive email. Those interested in learning more about EAP participation can do so by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org. Also learn more by going to our endpoints page.
These new SaaS offerings, to launch initially in the United States, essentially streamline delivery and reduce your operational overhead. These offerings also provide a fully managed cloud service that enables you to get up and running quickly with little upfront investment, and no in-house server and application management resources. Commvault provides all necessary hardware, software, facilities, personnel, processes, reporting and leading practices oversight necessary for service delivery from public cloud data centers.
Endpoint Data Protection with File Sharing and Email Archiving addresses some of today’s greatest IT challenges. That includes regaining control of company data residing on employee laptops and personal cloud shares, and bringing email explosion under control. With Endpoint Data Protection, maintaining a centralized secure copy of all your endpoint data collected happens automatically during the backup process. Once collected, visibility into endpoint data is readily available using Commvault’s integrated search capability. Commvault’s Email Archiving cuts cost, risk and the complexity of archiving email through rich file analytics and automated policy-driven data retention based on keywords within content. Unique to Commvault is our ability to provide customers with visibility and administrative control across endpoint, email archive and file sharing cloud services from a single console.
The Endpoint Data Protection and Enterprise Information Archiving markets are experiencing tremendous growth. Endpoint data protection demand has spiked recently and is expected to grow from $500 million from just a few years ago to $700 million by 2018.1 Information archiving revenue projections call for $5 billion to $7 billion growth during the next few years.2
Stay tuned for more information on Commvault’s cloud service offerings as we approach general availability later this year.
